Nestled between mountains and sea, Toucheng awakens beneath the gentle silhouette of Guishan Island, where morning mist rises with the tide and waves roll gently against the northern breakwater. Here, the sea has long shaped both the landscape and the lives of those who call it home.

Along this rugged coastline grows Gelidium, a native red sea plant that has been traditionally harvested for generations. Prized for its pure, refreshing character, it has long been part of the culinary heritage of Taiwan’s northeastern coast, carrying with it the quiet essence of the sea.

Inspired by this coastal tradition, we pair locally harvested Gelidium with the soft, creamy elegance of Jin Xuan Oolong. The tea unfolds with delicate floral notes and a naturally sweet finish, while Gelidium lends a subtle maritime freshness that is clean, refined, and beautifully restrained.

朝霧は亀山島からゆっくりと立ちのぼり、波は北堤をやさしく打ちながら、潮の香りを町へと運びます。山の静けさと海の息吹が、ここでは一つの風景となっています。

そんな風土を、一杯の金萱茶に映しました。
